PennDel Youth Alive

What is Youth Alive?

PennDel Youth Alive is a student-led, church-fed movement that empowers students to share Jesus at school and beyond across Pennsylvania and Delaware. Established in 1979, Youth Alive has enabled hundreds of thousands of students to hear the Gospel. Many of these have become followers of Jesus and become a part of the church.

PennDel Youth Alive is an extension of the local church, and we always work through the local church. We have four core components that empower the church to share Jesus with every student in every school:

Campus Missionaries

A Campus Missionary is a student who commits to sharing Jesus with the people around them.

We want to see students recognize that their school is a mission field and that God can use them right where He has placed them.

Youth Alive Movements

Youth Alive Movements are student-led opportunities to gather, build community, pray, grow in God's Word, and create opportunities to share Jesus.

Whether it's a traditional school club, a huddle, a prayer movement, a homeschool group, a cyber-school community, or another creative expression. We want to help students create movements that reach their friends.

Every student has a place. Every campus can have a movement. A movement happens when Campus Missionaries work together to share the Gospel at school and beyond.

Outreach

Creatively resourcing Youth Alive Movements, youth ministries, and churches to share the Gospel with student communities through events and initiatives, as well as connecting churches to schools for meaningful relationships. From serving their school and encouraging teachers to creating outreach opportunities and sharing the Gospel with their friends, we want to equip students to eliminate the excuses and step out in faith.

Prayer Mobilization

Mobilizing the church to pray for students, schools, and the PennDel Youth Alive Ministry. Before we reach our schools, we pray for them.We want churches across PennDel intentionally praying for the students, teachers, administrators, coaches, and staff in their communities. When you see a school, pray for the school. Our dream is to see every school in PennDel covered in prayer.
